GR11 – Stage 4 – Collado de Urballo – wild camping near Albergue Sorogain
Thankfully it stayed dry at night, and the wind kept my tent dry, making packing up my tent a lot easier and quicker.
Todays walk was a scenic one, but there was a horrible cold wind that put a bit of a damper on things.
I was relying on water from the 2nd hunters cabin, but when I got there the was turned off, not a problem here, ‘cos there is a good stream running here. Worth noting is that there is also a brand new piped water option at the “Shearing Cabin”. This was not an option in 2016, but the Shearing Cabin has been completely upgraded, and now with water.
I got to my planned spot for the night, and was VERY happy to see there where no cows and the spots were free of cow shit!.. I camped on a small island, so water was not an issue..
